This award is allocated for one cadet per school per academic year.
The 101st Airborne Division Association’s “Distinguished Cadet Award” can be awarded to JROTC cadets that meet the following criteria:
- The cadet must be academically in the top 20% of their JROTC class
- The cadet has previously demonstrated effective leadership skills
- The cadet has not previously received the award.
